About Us
After many years of boating and being involved in the marine industry, the creators of Fathom Yachts, John & Ric saw a need to build a high quality Fast Expedition Yacht with style, speed and fuel efficiency. The Pacific Northwest is a perfect place to build and use a luxurious quality yacht utilizing the latest technology.
 The owners have decades of experience in the marine industry. When they decided to create Fathom Yachts things happened quickly because of their ties to well established contacts and suppliers. Strategically and economically they planned each phase of the manufacturing process, procedures, and equipment. Hours and hours of planning and discussions were held to determine the best use of every space available in the new boat and fabrication. They teamed up with well-known Naval Architect Greg Marshall and got busy designing the Fathom 40.
After many months of hard work, the first Fathom 40 was put in the water and performed impressively, meeting or surpassing every goal. A network of dealers came on line, allowing Fathom Yachts nationwide exposure from coast to coast.
